It’s that time of year! Elections are quickly approaching, and not just any elections, The Torque Converter Rebuilders Association Board of Director’s elections! Our elections are far from what we are use to seeing with the rowdy, loud hecklers and hanging chads, butterfly ballots and the very unpopular electoral college. These elections are an easy, peaceful transfer of power. The most important thing we can do to help generate and keep interest in our specialized industry is to take part in this very crucial process.

The process is very simple. The positions are open to any member eighteen years of age or older, that and is in good standing with the association (current dues paying member).

November Mystery Converter

Last month’s mystery converter was identified by Marcin Pilatowski from Florida Torque Converter. He recognized this unit from a recent 2005 Mitsubishi Fuso Truck with a 4.9L engine. The converter part is ME519535 and fits ‘05, ‘06 and ‘07 vehicles.

This month, we have another mystery converter. The model has the following specifications: Overall diameter, 10.750, Pump drive diameter, 1.835; Pilot diameter 1.703; Bolt circle, 9.25; Sticker code, 2423; Big number 9065. Remember, correctly identified converters could earn you a TCRA t-shirt!
